What is meant by < PARKING LIGHTS?

are these just sidelights?

If the right indicator is turned on before key is out drivers side sidelights stay on and if left indicator is selected passenger side stays on, so depending what side of the roa your on depends what one you leave on.. Don't think I've ever used it

And does your bleep when you get out the car (warning) to say you have left it on?

Was looking to LED these you see < advise, really not a good idea? do you think they will be too bright? or any point of doing it?

Nah I don't think it does make a noise, I think you put the indicator on when the key is in the 0 position can't remember off the top of my head..

Led's should be fine, just make you spotted more easily  :happy2:

Do you know what bulbs they take?

50/50 < like you said - I don't really use them to be fair.

Mine does bleep, to say you have left them on.

You don't need any different bulbs! Yes it does make a noise! I use it all the time!!

Have a mannual buddy, but sure its a like half a copy of something! Been onto VW who are arranging a full copy to be sent out to me.

Emailed them for some info and they pointed me to certain parts in my manual, which were not there. Example in my other post.

Hopefully be sorted, not sure how long it will take them to send it.....?
