i think you need to answer the fundamental questions like age and milage yourself which will be roughly tied up with price. Start by looking on Auto trader & piston heads and also VW used cars to do your research, spot some you like and then come back with any questions you might have  :happy2:

for general buying guides do a quick search on here as this question has come up a few times in the past few weeks

(had an interest on one and followed up on it and below is the info and extras from the seller) let me know ur thoughts :scared:
------------------------------------------------------
Here is more info on the G5; the main question will always be on reliability

And maintenance, I can report that the car is in immaculate condition,

I have followed the VW service books to the T.

Everything expensive has been replaced on the car, and I do mean everything

I have also replaced all the known issues with GTi’s

If you ask any GTi person about known ailments, I have replaced them.

Here is the list of new OEM parts on the car: (ALL parts are VW parts)

NEW STUFF:

Lower control arm bushes

Battery

4 x Coil packs

Cam belt and cam tensioners

VW clutch kit

Brakes – disk and pads all round

PCV

BOV

I have spared no expense.

The car does have a Power flow Downpipe and decat exhaust system, its not a freeflow

Its more a exhaust with no restrictions, it also has STO software installed.

I am not a street racer, but like I said, I love to unleash the full potential of the GTI

And I promise you this; after you had a drive in this GTI you won’t want it any other way

I fell in love with the drive of the car, its powerful!.

It also has DSG Spotlight covers

And LaminX protective cover on the spotlights.

The only reason for selling is to buy a house.

I really love this car.

have included some more pics for your enjoyment.
