Part numbers - 312 brake calipers
« on: August 15, 2011, 02:13:54 pm »
Hello All

I need some help please. I've got a full set of brake calipers from a mk5 golf gti. They are the ATE front calipers to run with 312 discs and the TRW rear calipers with the 280 discs. I need to get new bleed nipples, rigid brake pipes and some of the rubber parts to replace the old knackered ones but I need the reg number from the donor car which I don't have. Can anyone give me the part numbers for the parts for this set of brake calipers please and the front brake pads too?

Thanks any help is much appreciated

You'll find the rigid pipes are the same as R32/S3 items, regarding the rubber items and bleed nipples give Jason or Mark or Steve a call at Brakes INternational 01706 666999, they'll have seal kits or full caliper rebuild kits, tell them the gay train driver asked you to call.

They wont have hard lines. I'll try to dig you out a part number, although if you clean the existing one gently there is a part number on it - they are handed left and right

Thanks for that. I'll give them a call in the morning and if they have the bits in stock I'll have a drive over to Rochdale

Went in there this morning and got all the bits I needed and they even stripped out a thread for me that I couldn't clean myself at no extra charge - thanks

You were right though they don't do the rigid pipes or stone/dust guards and I've had a look on the one remaining rigid pipe but you can't make out the part number so if anyone knows it please let me know
