Patrick's MK5 GTI - added some pictures
« on: August 16, 2011, 08:42:00 am »
I have bought my first Golf MK5 GTI november last year. This is how it started

Some spec as it was:
Tornado red
3 Door
Manual
Arm rest
Bluetooth
Xenon
NAV
Climate Control
CD exchenger
Parking sensors

And this how it is now:

In the mean time some small changes have been made

Side skirts and front spoiler painted
KW var 1 mounted
Deleted GTI badges
Mounted R32 rear lights
New wheels   BBS CK 19"
US lights  :innocent:
partial black front VW badge

Upcoming changes:
UK reverselens
Wiper delete

Still want:
Brakes upgrade
Exhaust - Miltek?
Carbon mirrors

I also want to lower the car a bit (especially in de back) but I am already on the lowest position possible and I think it is beter not to remove the adjusters in the back - any ideas / suggestions  :happy2:

That's a stunning result you have there Patrick  :happy2:

Some mods after my own heart there  :drinking:
I wanted to go for the 19"s too and also considered CK's but decided for a slightly different style of rim.

I'm always extremely proud to wear the iconic GTI badge front and rear on mine, but I think somehow it suits yours very well. Usually I wouldn't encourage it.

I don't recall seeing the darker CK rims on red MK5s too often but it works very well.

BTW, fogs as DRL's in the last pic?
Pete

Thank you for all the compliments, I like the car very much how it is right now but somehow I still want to find some extra changes

I cannot recall putting any pictures on GolfmkV but maybe they just look the same  :signLOL:

On the last photo you can see the fogs as DRL's  :pomppomp: some guys told me that is was not possible but here they are  :innocent:
