Mat clips

I want to swap the clips in my mats over so I can fit some new ones. (swap to twist ones)
Is there a nack to remove the clips? Any tips of anyone who has managed it? Just don't fancy braking them!

I used a screwdriver and my fat fingers to seperate the top from the bottom. They are a few pounds on ebay

I think I have some spare twisty parts. Will try to find them in the morning and let you know.
