Resonator removal!
« on: November 06, 2011, 09:50:55 pm »
Anyone had their resonator removed?

I know that it doesn't assist in performance but curious if anyone has, the Leon Cupra forum discusses this regularly and wondering of any fellow Dubs fans have?

Mike I think he's talking about the resonator for the exhaust system.

Alloy? surely stainless would be a better option. My mate removed the back box on his and it sounded like a aircraft under hard acceleration but hardly any louder on tick over.
