Changing bulbs
« on: August 08, 2011, 08:39:44 pm »
Just after advice really. I am trying to stay clear of HID kits as doubt they will work too well with auto lights, and not really got the money for  xenon kit as they seem to go for quite a few hundred.

Just wondering if anyone has changed the standard yellow bulbs for others that are more white.
Seen PIAA ones on ebay and phillips bright white ones. Just wondering if anyone has had any and any pictures or can they confirm if they do actually appear white and not just yellow.

Cheers

Ring xenon max for me - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ring-Xenon-Max-Performance-Headlight-Bulb-H7-55w-Each-/280719525430?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item415c300636 - obviously no comparison to HID's or OE xeneons, but far superior to the standard yellow carp.  :happy2:

I initially fitted them in the vRS before the HIDs and photo comparisons would suggest little or no difference between the Ring and Osram (apart from the cost).  :happy2:
