Tyre / Wheel Question!
« on: August 20, 2011, 03:35:20 pm »
Hello!

I currently have 19's on 225/35/19 I'm looking at changing to 17's on 225/45/17.

My question is will will the arch gap be hugely different? I'm lowered on kw v3s, about 35mm all round.

Reason behind the change is for track, but would like to keep a nice low ride! Rears are low as possible apparently!

Thanks
Daniel

No the gap should be almost identical though it may appear bigger because of the smaller diameter 17s.
Without traction power is nothing!

Brilliant that's all I need to know! I like my gap between arches and tyres so want it to stay the same, as much as possible anywY!
