You need to talk to my missus to get her on the modding side of the fence...... :happy2:

Having said that, I just do it anyway and when I show her what I've done I get 1 of 3 replys -

It doesn't look any different!

Yep, I like it!

Or I simply get a grunt!!

vRS - I am the modding Queen! I love it! Done something to all the cars I have owned I think!! I don't tend to go mental though, just a few moddest ones!

81lly - Yes, CH's are what I really want, but they are quite pricey! I will have Monza's too though! I also got my private plate put on the car:

Were they easy to fit? How much were they in total? Cheers!

Next mod has to be a GTi rear valance, 65 quid from TPS including the tow eye cover.  :happy2:

Joe - Well easy to fit!! They were about £40 a side, no need for the fitting kit. Just some "no more nails" stuff. Remove the front mud flaps, make sure the whole sill is clean and grease free. Put "no more nails" stuff along the top and bottom of skirt. Line up the skirt (may need one person each end) each end screwed on the inner arch, so start from the front, screw onto arch, then push skirt onto sill and then screw other end. Easy!

vRS - I did order the GTi rear valance, as I need a new valance due to preivous owner reversing into a post! But it would then mean getting a new back box, and that is where it starts getting costly, so I swapped it for a std rear valance. Boring I know, but I have to draw the line somewhere.. and I'd much rather put the money towards some 18" CH's!

How about colour coding the rear valance? IMO it makes a massive difference to the look (in a good way obviously :happy2:)
Diamond Black 2007 (56) Golf GTI 3Dr DSG ¦ 18" Monza II's ¦ Cruise control ¦ MFSW ¦ Highline ¦ Rear parking sensors ¦ PDT Stage 1 ¦ Forge Twintake ¦ H&R Sport Springs ¦ NQSBBK ¦ R32 Rear bumper ¦ BCS Powervalve Sports R32 style TBE ¦ Valeo LED Rear Lights ¦ Xenon lights with HID kit ¦ DNX521DAB ¦ 12mm Spacers all round ¦

I hear what your saying but I like it black, especially now I have the skirts on, it kinda follows round the car, if that males sense?
