« on: August 22, 2011, 06:50:53 pm »
Hi guys ive just pulled the clocks out of my brothers GT TDI, here are the pics of it:

i think this is the important one:

so looking at that id say the code is: 1K092064B.

am i correct? so would i need to swap it with a highline with the code: 1K092074B? will these clocks be ok:

final question how much are we looking for coding them in?!

Cheers from Sam n Joe!

those clocks should be fine as they have the same immo type, as for coding you will need to get a specialist to look at it your best bet is to give Kalu a pm.

To my knowledge, Kalu is the only guy who can do this. You will need a 974 cluster, the letter after it simply denotes country of origin & that's no real worry. You can change the foil backings in, for example, a US spec temperature display (Fahrenheit) to UK celcius by reusing your old ones.

Now you need to find the corresponding cluster. Get googling!

luckly the 2nd set of clocks pictured are ours already! we saw a cheap set of highline clocks on ebay and bought them with the risk that they would be right and amazingly they were!  :happy2:

just need to get in touch with kalu and sort it out!
