Identifying fogs
« on: August 23, 2011, 12:53:11 pm »
Does anyone know of any distinguishing features between the GTi/Jetta front fogs, compared to standard mk5 ones, just by looking at them?

Reason I ask is I have an Xparts bumper on my car which has front honeycombe grilles but uses my original 'standard' fogs. Looking to get slatted GT grilles in place thus need the GTI fogs and wouldn't mind being able to identify the fitment type from a photo.

Or has anyone got some cheap GTI fogs for sale?
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Should ask if anyone knows whether GTI, GT and Jetta fogs are all the same?

Also, is the lower centre GT bumper grille the same as the Jetta one? Or does the latter need a moulding to run along the top, making it different?
