I have -30mm on the vRS and tbh it is quite 'bouncy'.  It seems to be that VAG cars are over sprung and under dampered, saying that the standard ride on the GT is very smooth, imo great handling without compromising comfort.  I am only really looking at the lowering option for visual effect more than anything else.

Would never describe the ride as 'bouncy', harder yes but not bouncy.
