i want to lower my 05 gti with the standard shocks/struts
my question is whats the best springs to go for?
and will they be more comfotable then coilovers?
i was thinking around 20 or 30mm

eibach sportline get my vote, thats what I've got on, still as comfortable as the standard springs, will give the drop you are after

I'm going for Eibach Sportline,
Larkspeed
are the cheapest place to get them, if you want shocks to match there's a seller on ebay doing Eibach Pro Dampers for £300

You get a decent 30mm lower on H&R springs - and the ride is perfect - exactly how the gti should be. Slightly firmer without being crashy
