What head unit is this?

are they any good? better or lower model than the RNS 510

MFD2. They're ok but not great. RNS510 would be a lot better

I have this HU, agree with you not all that special.  I have the original invoice for the car from the previous owner, he paid over £1800 for the MFD2 and ipod prep...... :scared:

If I'm honest Johnny, you'd be lucky if you got 150 quid for it, but you never know as there are a few on eBay for silly money.

thats the lesser MFD2 as well they did two! You can always sell it and save for the RNS510. I have the mfd2 i have no problems at all and i prefer it as it wou;ld have been the one that was on the car when new!

I have the RNS510 already.

Have the MFD2 spare.....just didn't know how they compared

The latest versions of the MFD2 did come with the chrome / silver buttons, but is still very out of date compared to the RNS-510.

I'd say you'd get £200 for it, still has some navigation and it is colour screen. Although the chrome would be worth more, naturally.

The last one I sold in good condition I got £250 :happy2: that was on ebay so just try your luck if it doesn't go the first time put the price down a bit.
