GT Front Bumper
« on: August 26, 2011, 01:45:40 pm »
Hi guys,

Can someone please tell me the part number for the GT front bumper. as I cant find anything one here  :ashamed:. I don't want the GTi one, just the GT. I know it wont include grills etc, but it means I can gradually build it up before fitting it!

Also, what is the name of the chrome front grill. I have seen them on R32's and also a Jetta (Golf saloon?) and this is the route I want to go down!! Part number if known?

Many thanks peeps!!

Lx

The GTI and later GT bumpers are the same, only difference is the grilles.

The Jetta/Golf Estate bumper is almost the same but the lower corner grilles take a different grille (with an extended top moulding - see http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,30261.0.html ).

The upper Jetta chrome grille is interchangeable between the bumpers along with the Honeycombe GTI and slatted GT grilles.

PN for GT bumper - try 1K0 807 221 C
PN for Jetta chrome grille - try 1K5 853 653 A (these may be different now but it's somewhere to start).

The R32 chrome grille is different to the Jetta one and requires an R32 bumper
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)
