My New Golf **UPDATE** NOW WITH PICS

Hey all  :P

New to here but not my first mk5

I had a mk5 gtd 170bhp. Beautifull car but being young i ran it into the ground  :stupid: so i bought a passat 140bhp last year.

Was in a vw showroom last week and seen a steel grey mk5 gti dsg five door and thought wow :smiley:

So i stuck a deposit down and i pick it up next thu  :jumping:

These are only dealer pics so more to follow. Hope use like.

cheers mate. how do you find the dsg box. this is my first auto car haha
gonna fit the cruise as well. does this make much difference to the mpg?

Picked the car up last night and wow

Cant believe the difference in handling between this to the passat and even the golf gt

Get some pics up later when im finished work.

Btw 23mpg  :scared: haha

23mpg, well done. That will calm down with time.
I plod along getting about 26mpg, just so that it feels so much more fun when I do give it a blast and knock that number down.

See a lot of potential in the GTI in the pics mate, great colour, shouldn't stay standard for long on this board! :grin:

i have a list longer than britain for this car but deep pockets and short arms  :grin:

going to fit cruise to begin with as most of my journey to work is motorway now.

buying the unit from damian and going to get it programmed with my local vee dub dealer :D

well at 10pm tonight i was bored and for the life of me i cant figure out why its was a good idea to strip down the centre console for a daft wee mod

when i say mod i mean change the boot screen of my kenwood head unit.

been meaning to do this for a while now.

not the fanciest touch but nice all the same



also took some pics of my dads touran earlier. not a car fan in the slightest but talked him and my mum into this
lovely big car







its a match spec so has pdc front and rear and sat nav
auto park assist as well. its a 1.9 so not the fasted but nice and smooooth  :smiley:
