I've got my kit ready to go on, but I'm still trying to convince the local garage to code it in.........

Is there no one with VCDS near you?

Hi people!

I'm new to the forum and came across it from ages on google search!

Using this boot pop method and coding it to work, can you completely detach the handle mechanism and smooth off the boot and the boot still open no problem? I'm assuming so because the remote operates the lock not the handle right? Just want to check? Last thing I want is to smooth it all off and find out you can't pop the boot without the handle mechanism still in tact?

Thanks
Vish
