Changing bulbs in headliner?

Got my replacement bulbs today, some nice SMD ones, but how the devil do I get in to change them haha?

For the rear you can pop the whole unit open, the vanity mirror ones can also be popped out with a screwdriver. The front centre ones require the 2 torx screws to be removed. I think you pop open the grille bit towards the rear of the car and that gives access to the screws.

It's the front I'm after, I have plenty of torx but when you say pop of the grille bit I got a little confused lol?

Sorry I was doing it from memory  :signLOL:

The bit with the holes in can be prises open, I did mine from the left of the photo (you can just about see the mark)

There not blue there crisp white but my phone doesn't capture it properly, I  try get some pictures in the dark.

I have the middle one on order to change yes ;) ordering more for the rears now I'm happy they work

I got a bit obsessed to the point of changing the boot & even the glove box one. Well worth it!

I did mine today, 100% better imo, strange that I haven't got the centre light, is that the festoon bulb?  I have the same set up as yours in the vRS though.  :confused:

Personally I wouldn't go for blue as the main reason for me going for white is for better "vision" so doing blue kind of defeats the object for me personally!
