Your slightly going over my head here now, so I will give you ONLY the knowledge I have.....
1) You can upgrade a standard dial to a highline, you just have to ensure you get the correct one to match with the car. The best way of doing this is to remove the dials and get the part/code of the bottom, post the number on here and someone will tell you which cluster/dials will fit your model. As I learnt there are several varitions.
2) In order to get it FULLY functional you will need a module unit as well (I believe)
3) You will need the car re-coded to recongnise these parts - new add-ons.
4) If you plan to add buttons to the steering wheel too, you will needs lots of other parts.
Simple if you know HOW - otherwise a reaaaaal headache.
