Go to the shark HQ get it set up n the rollers then get the STS after imo. Thats what i did.

Id expect figures similar to what  JKMs rollers produce.  Had my fabia vRS on jkms rollers and made 213hp.(210hp on another dyno dynamics as well)  on sharks new bapro rollers it made 211Hp, so pretty similar id say and definitely not over reading, there were more than a few guys from the likes of awesome GTIs and AMDs rollers who were searching for their missing Hp lol.

Imo expect about 280-290hp

Make sure you dont look at headline power figures only, its all about driveability!

Personally I would go Revo, but hey just adding to the mix....

Mine made 286.4 bhp from bluefin on those very same rollers  :wink: stage 1

Was that not with the help of a Milltek downpipe though?  :P

Go Revo. I am looking forward to getting my Pirelli dynod after trying a Forge twintercooler with stage 2, it was 300 hp at 6k but wouldn't pull beyond 6.5k and 320lbft of torque from memory at JKM. Back to simple stage2 with just Revo chip, TBE, filter and forge DV it is miles better and pulls much harder to 7k so I have no doubt it's 300+hp on modest settings for timing and boost.

Revo were very helpful assessing the issues and testing, all free and I simply removed the Forge twintercooler. They had experienced inconsistencies with them, so I removed.

You get what you pay for I did have a cheap map and it was crap .....

had APR and REVO and would recommend both with a definite preference to REVO :happy2:
my reviews on both maps on and ED30 in the product review section  :happy2:

as someones already alluded to be aware that some people with later ED30/Pirellis had issues at stg2+ due to different weight valve springs.
From what i remember there was a VW TSB on it, as well as I think REVO improved the map to work around the issue.
(anyone care to confirm or deny where this stg2+ pirelli valve spring issue ended up?)

Valve springs not covered in uk by a tsb, that said ours is in for it's service next week so will ask, Revo borrowed ours for a week as is consistently showed the issue to work on the map

Lol, so it gained an extra 10 horses from the catback  :confused:. Thought you said before it was 276.5bhp before exhaust.  :grin:

I've had Bluefin and Revo, I personally prefer Revo, like the way the SPS works and map seems to run well, customer service I experienced was very good too. Saying that, customer service (via phone) from Superchips was also spot on and very efficient.

ive always found superchips rude on the phone! They never really gave me the answer i was after. ive asked them twice about dsg remaps and they say you dont need them??
You will get answers from them but its hard getting it out of them!

the guy on the phone to me, insisted that anything over 300lbft on my K03 TFSI would potentially snap the camshaft.

That was the tipping point for me changing in the end.

I cant think of any K03 being well under 300Ib ft? normally at least 320Ib ft from memory? and thats from watching at JKM several times..

You've lost me there.  Thats not something ive said, that was the rep @ bluefin who told me that over the phone.  After the issues that i was having with their map, followed by that response, resulted in me looking elsewhere

FWIW most stage 2+ cars make around 300lbft on JKms rollers. stage 1 around 270lbft

Hi Lee,

Just a quick one to let you know I called Shark yesterday had a good chat with them and have booked my car in for Friday 16th for a remap.  It was all paid for yesterday so I got the Summer deal of £299 which is an absolute bargain for a remap from such a reputed firm.

Thanks for your help on this and thank you to the rest of you for your opinions, it was much appreciated.

Roll on the 16th!!   :driver:

I just dropped my car off there this afternoon for some DSG7 remapping R&D.  Guy there with an S3 had just swapped from a bluefin stage 1 remap to the shark Performance stage 1 remap he seemed very happy with it.

He had it on the rollers there and made 306hp with twintake fitted.  Which is bang on the money, as you'd expect stage 1 with stock intake to make circa 280-290.

He gave me a lift home and it certainly shifts.
