We've just found out there's a bambino on the way and having only had our 3dr gti a few months its deffo not going down the ''baby forces sale'' route! I've seen a few people on here use roof boxes so wanted some recommendations or tips and also wondered what effects on MPG etc one would have?
Laser Blue 3dr No 209683, Leather, Monza II's and a few other goodies...........GONE but not forgotten......now in an A4 S-Line Avant 170tdi......god I miss the Gti.

I use one. We've a two year old and there invaluable

I'm from devon but live in Ireland and use it 2 or 3 times a year

I use OEM roof bars and a Thule box, you can do it cheaper but i don't see the point. You get what you pay for :innocent:

Obviously it does affect MPG. That was my (and probably everyones) main concern, but it's actually not that bad

I am buying the Thule range 90 I think?

Its a foldable one so it can be stuck in the cupboard when not needed.

loads of people had them when I went camping and half price on the 'bay!

I borrowed my dads Halfords box when moving to Germany, was a godsend!  The Thule ones are great quality.
