Wheel spacers

I'm after getting some audi wheels for the golf in 18.... would like spacers though at the back as i think that the wheels are et54 will which will make them sit in quite a bit.

Do you guys think spacers are needed at all with that offset? If so all round or just at the back?

I was thinking 10mm just at the back??

And where is the cheapest place to get them from?

I have classix with are et54 as well.  I have 15mm H&R at the back and 10mm at the front.  Never any sign of wear, damage or wheel wobble.  Don't go cheap on spacers, buy a decent brand.  From what I've read on line they'll shorten the life of your wheel bearings, but not significantly

Assuming you have OE Monza'a which if iirc are 18 x 7.5 ET51, then fitting the above size will still leave the wheels sitting out a further 3mm.  However there will be 9mm less clearance behind the wheel.  With that in mind I think I would go for 10mm all round, you could try it without though.

they'll fit as they are i'm sure..... the only thing is i'd like it to look better from the back hence the spacers.....

How much were the H&R ones?

I paid 96 euro for the 10mm including longer bolts from a supplier in Dublin, Ireland.  Obviously I didn't have to pay for postage as i colllected them.

Indeed, the absolutely have to be hubcentric which will have a lip to locate the wheel.
