Mine was a rather unsavoury 248BHP - something very wrong with my map

Initial investigation looks like the ECU map is corrupt but i need to try and reload the super chips map and see what happens

Tell me about it

Bloody bluefin has corrupted now, lost my original file and my remap file.....this just goes from bad to worse

On the plus side of investigation, it looks as though the map may not even be installed on the car anymore!!

@Mike Stage 2 - should be seeing around 300BHP with about 320ft/lb of torque. What I'm seeing is lower than stage one and the graph just looks odd. Its not progressive at all.

Steve was apparently having clutch slip or something along those lines! Bit of investigation needed there too

Somethings not right somewhere in any case.

Maybe he would benefit from a DSG remap to increase the oil pressure in the clutch pack.

I'm never convinced that a DSG map does too much apart from extra stress that normally should be cut by the safety parameters, just my opinion!! Looking forward to a few more numbers!!

@AlexP...

Have you not noticed anything different then on the road driving around..if you're missing 50-60 bhp??

It's strange how yours and SS's BF mapped cars are having issues on RR's!   :confused:

I don't drive it very often these days so if something was changing gradually I wouldntve noticed. Its possible its been like that from when I mapped it back in  May - as it still would've been faster. Its just hard to tell how much faster!

Tis odd, but not sure if its related.

Had a great morning meeting all you guys. Some weren't having much luck with their maps but it was interesting to see all the different variations and choices of mods.  :happy2:

As the only diesel runner i did feel a little under endowed but was nice to see what she was making a good year and a bit after the map was put on.

Enjoy! :star:

My stage 1 bluefin made 229.6 which I think is about right, running too rich though.
