Wanting to become a fully fledged ED30 Owner
« on: September 12, 2011, 05:18:33 pm »
Hello All,

I have been reading for a while and thought i would say hello.

I currently drive an MG ZS180, great sounding sound track with the V6, handles great, but is old, the ride is too harsh and it is getting too many niggles.

I have been waiting patiently for a Grey Ed30 to come up with lowish miles at a dealer.

Ideally with Bi-Zenons, be a Manual and has the Multi Function Steering Wheel (Does this car even exist?)

My search has pulled up nothing so far, so will continue to keep my eye out so i can more proactively take part in the forum.

Thanks for a great website.

Thanks for the heads up. The mileage is sadly too high, will be keeping this for the next 5 years so will add 70/80k miles myself.

Thanks for the welcome.

There is a manual grey on on pistonheads at the moment with a very high spec, 2007 57 plate, but aksing £14k. mileage about 28k.

Also a grey DSG, with most extras 1 owner from new, £14k, with 24k on clock, in birmingham, but he wont budge on price, so ive not pursued it futher, needs cambelt etc.. & also small scratch on lower door panel, so may need paint.

Thanks all,

Will go and check them out.

Does anyone know what sort of premium the dealers are marking up over private currently? The cars seem to be struggling to shift.

I was tempted by the Pirelli in Nottingham, it was up at 16k and they weren't moving on price so i left it, it has subsequently dropped to 15k so think they must have had a lot in the car.

They are the stealers remember!!! :rolleye: I bought my car 2006 34,000 on the clock for 10350 went to the dealers and they said they would put it up for around 12000-12500!! I may have got a really good lucky deal privately or the dealer was having me on???

Big margins. Can't beat a bit of haggling.

That's a steal at the auctions. Shame you missed out.
