QD MBE:
i may be missing something, but is there a spellchecker?

Or is it a "download" it yourself, due to people having different operating and browsing systems.

If so what are people using, I have Vista 64 bit running Mozilla Firefox.

Cheers once again for a great firum.

182_blue:
I have Firefox and i use the firefox spellchecker thats build into it

SteveP:
With all the different operating systems and internet browsers that standard SMF offering isn't likely to work for everyone so we have left it disabled.

Like 182_blue says with Firefox there is a built in one and there is also one in Apples Safari for PC and Mac.

I'm a smartass who went to an English Public School and so I don't need a spellchecker coz I no how to spell like.

I hate any software which tries to second guess what I'm writing. I don't use predictive text on mobile phones either.

I know what you mean about software trying to second guess what you write. I bet you only have to write one letter and it changes your text to Carbon, Miltek, and my dealers great.  :signLOL:
Its just your age i am afraid predictive text on messages is invaluable.
