Tyre help
« on: September 08, 2011, 11:02:29 pm »
My fronts are near the end of there life at present i have Dunlop sport maxx tt"s on the car all round the rears wont need changing for a while as they have only done 3000miles. I am torn between sticking with the Dunlops or going for Bridgestone s001"s does anyone have any feed back on them the Dunlops i like the car always seems to have grip when its needed but the road noise drives me mental on some roads. I need 225/45/17 just in case you want to know the fronts on mine are 91w rated but the rears are 94y I also only do about 5000miles a year

first up you should have four tyres all with the same load rating on your car. Second up whatever you choose don't mix asyms with syms. after that the choice is yours - do a search and you may find the advice you after has already been discussed  :happy2:

Auto-express have a group test in this weeks edition of that tyre size. The s001"s didn't come off too well. The GY Eagle Asymmetric 2's came out on top.
Bye Bye Edition 30.
