After crap weather all week got a new pair yesterday. Not until you change them do you realise how bad the old one's were. £31.00 well spent.

I got fed up of paying £25 upwards so I took the plunge and bought some for a whopping £6 from Amazon! They work a treat.......for now! To be honest if they last twelve months I'll get them again.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0043K71B4/ref=oss_product

Just checked and they have gone up to £10.45! Snaffle'em while you can boys and girls, lol.

Purchased - happy days!

Where Napoleons armies marched with horse and musket and Hitlers Reich crumbled in blood and rubble, the warriors of Armageddon do battle against the landscape of hell now indeed thrive the ARMOURERS

Anyone know how much the rear one is from the stealers?

And if its pricey, is there a cheaper option online?

i purchased a bosch rear one and found it to be better than the OEM one...

i got both fronts and rear (bosch) from ebay:

Good, quick service - used them twice before

Front pair from dealers are £13.00 each but then the dreaded v.a.t. Rear one is around £7.00 all in if i remember correct.

I've had Valeo Silencio blades on my car since May last year, about 20k, and they still work well.

Check this site. They specialise in car bulbs but also wiperblades. Ener your details into the blade finder > http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/

Bought a rear blade the other day from Brum VW for £7.73 inc. VAT.   Could perhaps have put a bit more effort in and found cheaper elsewhere but the old blade graunching across the glass was doing me nut in so went OEM as I was passing the dealers anyway!

I just found this:

http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Volkswagen_Golf_2.0_2007/p/car-parts/car-body-parts-and-car-exhaust/wipers/wiper-blade/?485776410&1&150480e2ea654af4a3c065abef2c0ec65305252a&000604

Is it the same/better quality then OEM?

thats the one i got recently (from ebay though).. i found it much better than the OEM one - i think the oem one is Valeo..
