what years the bug ?
The bug was a 1971 base model with pre 67 wings ,lights ,& dec lid.lowered on brm reps

I must stop this obsession with old M cars!
Its one car i wish id kept. spent a load of money on it then ended up selling it to buy stuff for my then new house . loved getting the back end out . but it was proper rubbish in the snow with the staggered M alloys

i like a nice sorted mk3...i had a lovely modded vr6 and miss it so much.  is one of those pics taken at the hartside pass cafe by any chance?

Man your first black GTI MK3 looks the exact same as my VR6. Mine was just United grey. lol

Very nice collection.

Yeah that mk 3 was a blast had a strong 16v with new injectors and a cold feed induction kit sounded great all the way to the petrol station

To be honest the 206 180 was one of the worst cars ive owned , back box dropped off the day i got it, 2 clutch/ fly wheel replacements. had all 6 courtesy cars from the dealer . it wasnt that fast and ate the juice. it didnt last long :signLOL:

Was nearly 7 years ago that i owned that , no coilovers like whats popular now but a good old set of bilstein shocks and springs .handling was pretty sweet

think it was 35 or 40 mm over the standard m-tec set up . didnt scrape at all and went over speed bumps :happy2:
