My wife was waiting outside school to pick up our daughter - was speaking on the phone to a friend (also a Firefighter) when he said to switch over to Sky News. For the first few minutes he wasn't sure if it was real or fictional. When my wife came home we sat in silence watching it. When the towers collapsed I remember saying how they'd be full off firefighters. 10 years later and they are still dying from breathing in all that dust.
