Cobwebs......!
« on: September 12, 2011, 09:12:43 am »
Fiited a set of GTi headlights recently and using the car for the first time in the dark last night, I discovered that a spider had made its home in one of them, as a result the inside of the lens is covered by a network of cobweds!!  :surprised:  Any bright ideas on how to get rid???

The heat from the headlights should kill the spider?

Be grateful.  According to my parents, there was an old lady who swallowed a spider.  Apparently, it wriggled and wriggled and tiggled inside her.

If you stick a small tube onto the end of your vacuum cleaner (seal it around with duct tape) then you should be able to get in and remove the cobwebs

Could try an air duster (pressurised can of air from Maplin or similar) This would destroy the web and probably place it out of sight.
