BSH PCV Stage 1 Fitting Help
« on: September 14, 2011, 11:50:08 am »
I am just about to install the stage 1 pcv fix and need to purchase the correct tools. I am not at home so cannot check but does anybody know the size of wrench needed to fit the large silver union on the right hand side of the fitting plate.

Thanks

You dont need a wrench to tighten that as it only has to be hand tight.  When tightening the screws up on the face plate make sure you tighten the very right one first then work to the left.  That way it will ensure you have a good seal made. When fitting the manifold cap just slip the cap on and gently tighten the small allen screws.  They dont need to be tight but just enough to stop the cap from moving.  Put some nut lock on or wrap a cable tie around them all to stop them from vibrating loose.  The rest is straight forward :happy2:
