HID Headlights - Edition 30
« on: September 13, 2011, 07:09:32 pm »
Folks,

I may well buy an Edition 30, without the Xenons. Are these essential? Can i buy HID's for the Edition 30? If so, what's the best set on the market? Or alternatively can i buy uprated Bulbs? :happy2:

A Xenon retrofit is possible, but personally wouldn't recommend HID conversions.

Upgraded bulbs like the Osram Nightbreakers do make some difference.

yes xenons are essential!
if you dont have them you will find yourself wanting them!
hid kits dont look good at all with golf headlights unless you have an aftermarket set of lights.
thats my opinion

I just upgraded bulbs in mine. LED sides with Osram nightbreakers for main. However you can get H7 led for the main headlight too.

Here are my LED sides...

I don't have them, and strangely enough I've never found myself wanting them! I guess I mustn't drive in the dark enough. I actually don't think they look as good as the normal light either.
