Two Unmarked Black Audi A3 Police Cars

Hi All
Driving home on the M60 today (6:40 ish near Prestwich)
Moved over and two Black A3 flew past nose to tail with blues & twos.
Dunno if anyone else saw them but the speed and distance between them was quite impressive/dangerous.

Enjoyed the last five years of ownership of Mk5 & 6 GTIs.
Plus an excellent forum for knowledge and new ways to deplete the bank account.

They may not be normal plod! dont get two excited! A lot of specialist units use these!

I can assure you no driving course that the police, or other "specialist" units, do teaches them to drive a car nose to tail at high speed :wink:

Ive done those courses and they push you to drive at what ever the 530d can do! What they do after the course is up to them!

So have i, as well as few you won't have done, and they never teach two cars to drive nose to tail at high speed. The following car could not react in time to sudden changes in direction, obstacle avoidance or braking no matter who the driver is.

Like i said, they dont teach you to drive like that but what they do after the course is up to them! Im sure we all have a few habits! :happy2:

Your right, I didnt read the nose to tail part initially! I was taught by the Met at Hendon.

perhaps a more aware and alert driver? But surely adds to potentially going a little bit faster too?

Any one can drive a car fast. Just look at all the dickheads the police chase. It's being able to do so with a high degree of control and being able to regain control of the car if you start to lose it. The courses teach you to be alert to what is going on around you whilst maintaining a vehicle safely at high speed, how to spot potential hazards etc and how to react should the vehicle start to breakaway.

They used to be tvcu (like the tv series) .. Have a couple of s3 sportbacks amongst other cars , what a job!!

Unmarked black sporty Seat Ibiza,Did,nt see a badge (FR?).. Anyway pulled a kid in Doncaster,blues in rear window and front.Copper was wearing a baseball cap.Just imagined the kid seeing that in his rear mirror,baseball cap wearing driver in a sporty ibiza..Unleash the beans... :driver:   NICKED!
