Best product to clean grill & fog surrounds
« on: September 15, 2011, 03:26:36 pm »
I struggle to make the fog light surrounds and the honeycombe grill look there best. What is the best cleaning product or method for cleaning these and making them look black again. , cheers.

TBH I take off the grilles that I can. Where possible, I use a mini-EZ detailing brush and APC to clean the grilles, rinse, dry and then dress with a trim dressing of your choice and a brush. Current fave is PB natural look instead of AG bumper care.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Me too, the fog grills anyway as a suprising amount of sh*te gathers just underneath / behind!

Good tip  :happy2:
