Welcome along mate, if we get any more GT owners they will have to revise the forum name..... :signLOL:

H&R are good quality mate, or you could look at Eibach Sportline, they do a couple of spring types for the GT iirc, one lowers 20-25mm the other drops it 30mm.

welcome along.

Those TDI's are nice cars. did you get 140 or 170?

Some Eibach Sportline would suit you better than. H&R's are great. But find the Eibach's just that little bit smoother and less bumpy.

Hello and Welcome to the forum. Fellow GT owner

I have the Wietec Highcon GT's they are firm but i wouldnt say crashy or uncomfortable, plus there is the added bonus of setting them exactly where you want  :happy2:

Hi mate and welcome. I had eibach sportlines on my gti with standard shocks, the ride was ok bit just didn't look low enough for me. I have put on some ap coilies never said anything to the wife and she cant tell the difference and believe me she knows loads about modding  :signLOL: it all depends how far you want to go with it i suppose.

When you say set them where you want do you mean height wise or have they got adjustable rebound.  I am also swaying towards coilovers for the simple fact i want to set the height to my taste front to rear instaed of stuck with how the spring settles. I cant go low though probably 30mm tops cant be having issues with slopes and speed bumps

It all depends on the brand you buy and cost really. You can buy just height adjustable with fixed dampening but uprated. Or you can go for the whole shabang and get height ride rebound. It depends on how deep your pockets are and what you want to use them for i suppose. Go to venommotorsport and check out his site. He stocks loads of different brands from budget to top of the line. Hope this helps

Cheers for the reply guys.money isn't really an issue tho I hate spending a fortune on something you can't see.might put a wanted ad in here for a good set of second hand coileys.might just buy some eibach and keep an eye out on a decent set coming up for sale.
