« on: September 17, 2011, 06:51:50 pm »
ive just got a gti exhaust for the derv, now all i need is the valance, im after the ed 30 one, wheres the best place to get it.

so far all i have seen is:

£160 on ebay

£300+ on awesome gti

how much does the dealer charge for these?

The ones from awesome are £426 inc vat!!!  :surprised: I imagine the dealers are also as expensive

Are the ones on ebay the real deal or replicas? I was going to get a replica one but then one popped up on here and got that. I couldnt be bothered with the agro of it not fitting correctly!

jeez now i know why they are rare, i just want to be a little different, and i like how the creases on the ed 30 are bold. guess the only way to know if its not a replica is to check for the imprint on the back?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Golf-Mk5-GTi-Edition-30-Rear-Bumper-Valance-Skirt-Exhaust-Trims-/280740045821?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item415d6923fd

looks genuine to me, just not much feedback...

Its fibreglass so its not a real version! They look ok though, just might be expensive to get it fitting correctly!

just seen this and i quite like it although it not a genuine part

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Golf-MK5-5-R32-Rear-Bumper-Spoiler-Valance-Body-Kit-/220755869788?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item336613405c

have seen a lot of their stuff on ebay...i got a front black grille badge and it was brilliant.  i see this is advertised as PUR plastic rather than fibreglass so ought to be better really.  be interesting to know if anyone on here has used them for these items?

i know ive not seen one on the forum, its tempting to be different but its not the cheapest option
