just putting it out there:

Audi's TT-RS race car ditched the Haldex and has front wheel drive only
The Scirocco R has front wheel drive only

i'm with you in that i wouldn't want to put big power through the front wheels, but i also mirror other posters' sentiment in that it is pointless to try and put 4WD in your Ed30 when you could easily buy an S3 for a lot less money, or an R32 if you want to stick to the Mk5 and turbo that. it would be A LOT cheaper by the sounds of things!

Storm Developments always seem to be pushing the boundaries on these types of projects, I have no idea if there work is any good but they manage to wedge 2.0TFSI into MK2's so they maybe a good place to start...even if it's just a costing exercise! :happy2:

I'm in love with my best mates 20vT MkII, tsr who work on it have done a TFSI MkII and I would properly love one
