I managed to code it out of the engine side, so that doesnt throw up any codes now.
But on the steering wheel section, if I code it out, I get a fault code saying its incorrectly coded, so just left it out of the engine side, and just ahve the faulty cruise on the steering wheel section :happy2:

Car back in dealers today. They said compression test was fine, just like I told them it was, but there's still a vacuum at the dipstick, so there's to much pressure in the bottom end :fighting: and that's where the problem is. Ive used over a litre of oil in 500 miles since they put a new turbo on to stop me using so much oil :stupid:

Do you mean nothing happens when you remove the dipstick? or does the engine get very lumpy when you remove the dipstick?? the lata is correct.

My local dealer also told me at the weekend that it's okay for no change in engine note?

When I remove my dipstick I can feel air at the tube hole but the revs don't hunt or idle doesnt go lumpy.  Im trying a new Rev PCV this week...

Hi Mike,
if you pull your dipstick out with the engine running the engine note should definatly change and the engine should start to hunt like its going to stall , also if you leave it long enough like that you should get a fault code.

Thanks Rob  :happy2:

My engine note changes, but they reckon there's too much vacuum :stupid: think they're rubbish and haven't got a clue what's wrong with it
