i would say that if you rn the tank down to the minimum before filling up quite often , it might be worth changing it , just in case its picked any sedament up.
theres a couple of posts on the yank sites showing their fuel filters they have cut open when they have changed theirs.
They show differing degrees of dirt and contamination , it might be worth having a look.
What is strange though is a fuel filter used to be a serviceable item , so why the big change of heart ? its not like they are not making money from it.
so unless fuels have got a lot cleaner ? but you still hear horror stories about supermarket fuels.
