Hi guys, 2nd time of trying due to my pc switching itself off!
Right long story, bear with me please.
Saturday morning I decided to switch my stereo over for a double din unit I bought through here. I went to Halfrauds and bought the correct loom adaptor etc for a small fortune.
I proceeded to swap them over and quickly deduced that it was not working on ignition power but staying on constantly. So i did the old trick of swapping the constant and ignition power leads which led to a fuse blowing in the engine bay board, so I swapped it over with another one for the purpose of a trial and blew it again, repeated the same and by this time starting getting in a tizz. Thought I will leave it and got in the car to go and get some more fuses, wouldnt start! Turned over etc but didnt fire up. Starting funking about again and managed to get it started, left home, 1/2 mile down the road it just stopped running. Checked all the fuses again and none had blown..... ended up getting towed home.
Yesterday Dom came round (a fellow Reading member with VAGcom) to have a look at it for me, he plugged in and did the diag check, this is the report:

The main problem is that the VAGcom will not communicate with the engine control module. My theory is that I have replaced a fuse with a higher ampage one and blown the relay however I have no idea which one it is likely to be.
Has anyone ever seen this before? If so what was the final cause?
