Ditto, just ordered a new laptop that comes with Windows 7 Home Premium and looking to put Office 10 on it. think mines is a 64-bit OS, maybe.

I do know if you are a student you can order it from Software4Students for £37.89 if you're a student. Oh, wait a minute, I AM ONE!!!  :jumping: :jumpmove: :jumpmove: :star: :star:

Not sure, not very computer minded.

I was sent a password, about 25-30 numbers and letters, and went on the MS site and downloaded.  I am not sure, but he may have got it via work?

I had to pay via a card and all was sorted.

I see, I've bought from Software4Students before so think I'll use them again.

Dunno if I can just buy the one copy...

Unless you work with very large excel files, stick with the 32 bit version of office even when using 64 bit windows.

Surprisingly this advice comes from Microsoft.

Depends if you can get access to the home use program. I got genuine Office 2010 and Office for Mac 2011 for £8.95

Forces can get access to it which is how i got mine. Maybe you can through your business.

I may be able to get Office 2010 pretty cheap.
I used to have a load of Windows 7 licenses as well, which many forum members purchased and used perfectly fine.
If I have enough people interested in Office 2010 I may be able to get it pretty cheap.
PM me if interested  :happy2:

Is that an offer or a boast?
