Once I've had my paintwork done and the gril painted and smoothed I'll probably re fit it with sticky pads direct to the black section rather than the big ugly number plate holder

....Contrary to expectations, the sticky pads are very secure. I've had mine on since the winter of 2009.

My list of things to do is getting shorter  :happy2: (in order of importance)

Get decent tyres for the 19s
Sort paint work (respray front end and detail it)
Refurb 19s in 'pescara' silver
NQSBBK front and R32 rear brake upgrade
ED30 rear lights
ED30 half leather seats
Fit Amp and upgrade front 3 way speakers
Build a proper sub enclosure

Bit of an update... Found my little list from a few posts ago...

Conti 5P 225/35/19 tyres in the shed waiting to be fitted when wheels are refurbed (I'll do this while its getting painted)
VW Chelmsford are doing the arches and bootlid FOC. Depending on their quote I may get them to do the other paintwork as well or get that done separate.
ED30 lights sitting on my desk waiting to be fitted :)
ED30 interior sitting in Kent waiting for me to collect :)
Amp and speakers sitting in my car all fitted :)
Sub enclosure on its way from america :)

Busy few weeks lol

During ICE install.

Finished (minus the seats... once the seats are in and the covers on you cant see a thing..
JL HD600/4

Audiocontrol LC2i Line out converter with bass controller

Ive also got my JL 10W3V3-4 all ready to go it... just waiting for my sub enclosure to turn up    :happy2:

Nice and Stealth...

Thats it on the updates really.... Running nicely now.

the amp is under the passenger seat (its a bit wider) and the LOC is under the drivers seat but its pretty small so could go up under the dash somewhere in reality.

Combination of zymol leather cleaner on the leather and wolfs interior cleaner on the fabrics.

Stil for sale:

I think I'm pretty happy with the interior now and apart from replacing like for like on a few trims that have a few marks on them, I'm not sure i'll change anything else.

Cant wait to get the paintwork done and then I can polish it properly as well.

I'm still 50/50 on what colour wheels to have. Keep the black or go for a more OEM silver look?

Anyway... a few photos...

Interior complete

All the ICE bits are nicely hidden away under the seats under the pastic covers now

And with no seats

Amp under the passenger seat

Line output converter under the drivers seat

And the bass control in the coin draw by the drivers right knee

Rear Lights

Before

After

Thats all the updates for now.

Still would like some S3 / R32 brakes at some point ands still need to decide on the wheel colour  :signLOL: I've gone back and forth from black to silver on a daily basis

Jez man, that is looking amazing, love the interior! I'd refurb the wheels in silver or anthracite, I'm not a fan of black wheels.
Great work, don't forget to let me know when you get bored with it!!!
