Diagnostics with Revo map
« on: October 21, 2011, 09:03:30 pm »
Hello,
Would any body be able to tell me whether a Revo map would prevent me plugging in my own diagnostic code reader if my engine management light ever appeared?? Or would I have to go to Revo or a Revo dealer??
Cheers.

Ahh that's a relief. Somebody said to me that I can't and that was making me consider another mapper. Otherwise I thought that they would charge a fortune for diagnostics.
Cheers for the info!!

I will stick with Revo then when I get my car mapped in a couple of weeks. It was bugging me because they said they lock the ECU when they load their maps on but they probally wanted me to get my car mapped else where. (not too sure where his info came from??)
