I'd hold your horses, I really can't see it being anything more than a 3GS-like update. Rumours suggest it almost certainly has the same case design.

Not a chance. Plenty of new cases designed featuring a new form factor. The iPhone 4S is looking like it will just be the lower end phone, with a larger form factor iPhone 5 replacing the top phone line up.  Also, Al Gore has let slip that there are new "iPhones" pl, being released.

Apple would be completely dropping the ball if they only release a minor upgrade after nearly 18 months from their last release.

I hate to say I told you so, but...

:P

iCloud is also on 12th with ios5

....On a Mac computer you'll have to be running OS 10.7x 'Lion' to use iCloud.

Sorry i meant they are both released the same day - running lion so no bother, is that gospel you have to have lion? No workey on snow?

....As gospel as an Apple Store dude telling me in person on Sunday and a Greek AppleTech girl telling me on the phone from Athens this afternoon.

Mac OS 10.7.2 extremely imminent too but I'm still staying on the Snow Leopard for now for third-party peripheral reasons.

I've got a 32gb iPhone now but never use the storage. My iPad is 64 gb though. I think with all this off device storage I'm just going go for the 16gb iphone4s
