Hi peeps I rung jbs about my car said no probs bring it in Friday for a look at it so will see what they make of it then it just seems strange how my torque is up and so in my mpg but only 215 bhp , and ben from shark only asked about my mods after the 3 runs they just said it was smooth but should be producing more power

Just back from jbs said everything is fine and the rolling road fans must have been 2 small so my car over fueled 2 compensate hence the power loss  now I am confused

No way. The fans at Shark are the most powerful that I've seen at a rolling road, so they are talking rubbish.
Did they not do a rolling road at their place then, as you were promised one when you got the remap done, so in essence they still 'owe' you a run on the dyno?

Dyno wars

temperatures are usually printed on the dyno graphs so you should be able to see them.  Without a big high pressure centrifugal fan the TFSi is hard to keep cool, my old axial fan used to struggle sometimes (no axial fan will never make the pressure of a similarly sized centrifugal fan) so I bought the biggest fan centrifugal fan that DynoDynamics sell, problem solved.

Ideally the car needs running on the dyno and datalogging to see the actual intake temps.

In all honesty, those fans do shift a lot of air, so that's a lame excuse. You could always pay for a run on a dyno dynamics rolling road before you go back, at least youll have 2 different dyno results to prove to them. other results were accurate at their Rr day? It was a brand new bapro dyno, and they aren't cheap!

Thats carp.  Allans vRS with revo stage 1 made 240hp/313lbft on their bapro dyno on the open day.  And quite a few others made 235hp+ on stage 1.

Those fans are mega powerful.

Fwiw ive had my car on 5 seperate dynos now( 4 x dyno dynamics and sharks bapro twice )results were 210hp/208hp/213hp/211hp on dyno dynamics rollers and 211hp/206hp on sharks rollers.  Id say their pretty spot on personnally, and your issue wasnt heat soak

Cheap is one thing it definitely wasn't.

I know on the day you asked me about some of the petrol cars making lower than expected figures, later in the day we had a 2.0TFSI with our Stage 1 map on it with no problem. Unfortunately I think that was the only other Stage 1 TFSI that was on the rollers that day, but we have had other TFSIs from other days with other maps that have made near enough the figures they should have done  :happy2:

The fans are twin 3kW pushing 38,000CFM, they're pretty adequate for most cars.
Bargin!! and i can vouch for ben knowing his stuff! the guys an ECU freak!
