Just don't drink it. Or leave it on too long. No need to dilute but chuck the MF away after use. If you pour the stuff from the container into say a spray bottle, decant any remaining tardis back into the container and rinse out the bottle, including pumping water through the spray head. Otherwise you'll find Tardis has eaten through the seals!

Thanks for that tip, not the bit about avoiding drinking it - i'd just about worked that out for myself though i did wonder if it would make for a smoother alternative to meths

No the bit about the bottle. Possibly too late for the bottle i've currently had it sat in for 2 weeks but at least i won't ruin a 2nd

Empty the bottle, rinse it out several times, fill with water and spray the water out. It might not be too late.

Just APC'd twice then cleaned, all wax gone ! I used 1/3 of a bottle for each wash, lots of sponge rubbing then Zymol Clay followed by Zymol HD cleanse and now has a top coat of Zymol Carbon wax. Looking amazing

Is it worth putting more than one coat of wax on ? How long between coats ?

I always put two coats on ensure maximum coverage - you might've missed some spots or applied too thinly in some areas, so a second coat is always worthwhile.

I also tend to let the first layer fully cure. This is usually around 48 hours, which generally means the following weekend for me.

Jesus that's shiney mate!  What products did you use? I've taken the day off tomorrow to get my Dbp spotless - if the weather holds!

1. Ecover APC 4:1 three washes, sills, front lower and door bottoms and skirts tar remover
2. Zymol Clay all panels
3. Zymol HD Cleanse, two coats and local polishing
4. Zymol Carbon wax, two coats

The only thing I need is something to deal with mini stone chips from lots of motorway miles.
