VW Dealer < Funny

As some of may know I have an extra add on to the car....a pre-heater thing.

Anyway, just needed some advice/help on how to work it properly, so popped to the local VW dealer......

Conversation was pretty brief, 3 people looked at. Parts Department, Service guy and engineer.

Responce.....

Sorry, not too sure never come across it before......don'don't worry though, you don't really need it.  :laugh:

They are great in winter. Set them to come on before you leave for work and all the ice melts off the windows and you get a nice warm car.

Had one on my old diesel landy and miss it. But it did scream out the flue sometimes :evilgrin:

Well no 100% sure how to actually set/start it on the VW......you have to set the settings/programme it so the car knows what to do. All I asked them was "how too"

and they just look  :rolleye: and said not sure......be OK, you don't really need it in this weather lol

Soooo helpfull.

Did give me an option though £72 + vat book it in and we will see if we can find out

Lol I had similar today, I went in to ask if I could fit an six in to my rcd300 and the bloke said what's an rcd 300 then I told him it was a stereo and hr came back with a short ipod lead thing and I asked him if it would work and he said I don't know really, will it?
