Right, this has taken me days to get these pics together, and please bear in mind this is only a snap shot of the cars I have owned

My first car, a 1.0 MG Metro Look alike

My second car, oooh a REAL MG

Next came a Metro TURBO!! How flash was I, and all in the space of nine months! No pics im afraid
Had a few 'cheap' to insure runabouts after the insurance bubble burst around 92-93

Next came a 1.7 Renault 5 GTX, this car was quick!

A few years and a few cars past then came my Vauxhall phase  :happy2:
My Nova SR (I'd wanted one of these for years!) And my Brand spanking new Corsa SRi

Calibra 16v - heated Leather seats! I had arrived

Again a few years past, most noteable absantees that I have no pics of include, P306 XSI, Renault 19 16V, MK4 Golf 1.8t GTi and more than a few Iv'e probably forgotten!  :indifferent:
Family runabouts

My immaculate Accord Type R

Puma 1.7 - Great car! Mrs Greenouse loved this one

And of course my last GTI which is now being well cared for by Markymark AKA Flora

Phew! As I said alot more I really wish I had photo's of, but I think you guys now get the picture!  :driver:

Had the usual stuff,

1st car a renault 5 (850 cc, dropped onto 3 cylinders all the time!)
2nd was one of these and Opel Manta SR Berlinetta no less.

then along came the usual Chevettes, had a Viva, then another Manta, then one of these

Couldnt afford to keep it, so flogged it and had nothing for a whiler, then bought a Nova SR, then had a GTE, then saw the light, and in 1991 bought F229OCF, a Tornado red mk2 16v, and the rest is history!

Dub, after Dub after Seat to Ed 30!

Never had one of ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^   :fighting: :fighting: :fighting: :fighting:

After a couple of years it was only the rust holding it together, but it was my first 'proper' fast car :signLOL: I'd love to have a go in one now to compare.

I owned a Black D reg XR3i in Black, absolutley loved it untill i blew the gearbox in it, went to a scrap yard and fitted a Orion 1600i gearbox think cus it had the same engine, the gearbox would be the same, but the gear ratio's were different and it changed the way she drove!!.

Happy days

Nice to see you (mature) chaps were also brought up on a diet of XR3/XR2/RS turbo's, will anyone be tempted by the new RS? In white obviously.

My Dad worked for Ford at Halewood for over 30 years you use to be able to order a bottom of the range car usually an escort, then get a build number and go around the factory with your car watching it getting built and adding all the top of the range bits, and also you were able to give it extra coats of paint and underseal. Them where the days  :sleepy:
The newest fords are great drivers cars in my opinion they make great handling cars no doubt, but overall they are one step behind the japs and 2 behind the germans.
