54 Reg GTI

As per topic, I recently bought 54 Reg GTi but I'm unable to find its engine code. I've looked in boot but there is no sticker there. Can anyone tell which engine it might have and is it 150BHP or 197BHP version?

Mine is a 54 plate and it has, or did have  :innocent:, 197bhp as standard and has an AXX engine code

every quote I have had for my GTI they have quoted back the exact details of the car including BHP...

I haven't insured it yet. Its parked at my driveway. Once my old car get sold, insurance will be transferred to GTi
