Fubarbed headlight lenses
« on: October 06, 2011, 10:58:02 pm »
Do all mk5 headlights go all 'frosty' and dull? If so, how do people get rid of the sh*tty finish that wears onto them?

Cheers

Have a look at wetsanding - a few fellow forumites have done this with good effect.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

what the man above said, pretty sure they could be wet sanded and then buffed back up with a machine polisher.

There's a few posts (with pics) on this if you do a search.
